Features:

The system itself comprises of a small camera – approx 20 x 70 mm and weighing approx 80 gm which is mounted on the Cylon headset, however the Cylon system is much more durable, adjustable and more comfortable through the use of the latest materials and additions such as neoprene pads for comfort.

Users soon become accustomed and do not notice the system even after many hours of wearing it and the head mounting means you see what the wearer sees.

 

The camera is water and shock resistant and displays full colour images with auto switching to a low light mode to give exceptional images in near total darkness ( down to a light level of 0.01 lux – to put this in perspective a single candle
3 ft away makes 1 lux, a hundred times as much! )

Ideal for night use but also inside areas such as clubs and pubs, enabling the staff to monitor clients with ease

 

The heart of the system is a digital video recorder that can store up to 400 hours of video with sound and has a battery life of 12 hours, easily enough for an entire shift for most users. This recorder is small enough to be worn in a shirt pocket at 7 x 12 x 4cms.

No constant changing of batteries or uncomfortable equipment to carry, a true “switch on and forget” item

 

The system is worn in a police approved, water resistant pouch on the belt and has remote controls on a clip for easy and quick activation if the unit is not kept running.

The system is robust and will not fail under normal conditions, vital for the security markets

 

The system has an integrated colour screen for immediate viewing of footage and can connect to any pc or television for later viewing and recording to DVD or tape.

Much more reliable than even a trained officer’s memory – you can quite literally see what the user has seen

 

Cylon has developed unique security software that time and date stamps every frame of footage, which combined with the pin number access to the control panel, makes the footage secure and admissible as evidence.
