Cylon Systems was started 3 years ago by the now Chairman Steven Stinders, who’s vision of a truly portable, body worn surveillance system is the core of the business.  The company is now run by Steven, with Simon Brooker as managing director who brings his expertise from running a successful global magazine in the defence market.

Developed over 2 years with the help of police and night club trials, the system  is now in use with over 40 police forces, councils across the UK and is being tested by the home office for potential national implementation.

Cylon systems now work with partners Audax in Plymouth who have years of experience in supplying to the Police and government markets, together this partnership has made huge headway into this new marketplace with a strong and innovative product.

Cylon Head cameras have regular coverage and have featured on BBC news, Sky news, The Times, the Sun and the Daily Mail.

The Cylon system has had its convictions in court which show that the system and its footage with the ‘Unique Product ID Code’  is taken seriously and the unique security software that has been developed in conjunction with ARCHOS the global DVR manufacturer is now deemed a useful asset by many organisations.

With units and enquiries now going to, and coming from all over the world, Cylon Systems is expanding rapidly in new markets such as man guarding, Street Wardens and soon, the huge leisure market with a robust and affordable leisure cam for use in anything from Skydiving to BMX racing.
